Jon Mangion received a BFA in Film & Animation at the Rhode Island School of Design and a masters in Art and Design Education at Pratt Institute in New York City. He worked in the Film and TV industry for ten years in NYC before moving to Ireland where he now teaches Film Production, Scriptwriting and Editing at the Galway Technical Institute. He has received the Hollywood Scriptwriting Award for his feature script The Average Shade of Grey and his short film Pathway premiered at the Galway International Film Fleadh. He has been making and teaching creative media for 15 years.
